Advice for 6th Graders FROM 6th Graders

  • Study every night for 10 minutes after you find out you have a test
  • Don’t forget your Lunch money
  • Don’t buy a cheap backpack
  • Stay Quiet in class
  • Always ask if you have a question (Don’t be scared)
  • Don’t wear heels
  • Put your name on everything (Lunch Box, Binders, Backpack)
  • Don’t try to sneak and get on your phone
  • Remember to put your phone on silent
  • Don’t text your friends in other classes
  • Don’t look at your hands
  • Have fun
  • Make friends
  • Don’t chew gum even if you think that you should be able to
  • Don’t sneak food in class
  • Remember to always have a pencil
  • Remember your ear buds 
  • Always use common sense
  • Always use tissue if you have to sneeze
  • Always use Germ-X after you sneeze
  • Don’t forget a book for W.A.R. Time
  • Don’t lie
  • Don’t argue with your teachers
  • Listen to your teachers about the Dress Code
  • Don’t run in Courtyard
  • Don’t sit on top of benches or the wall
  • Be Prepared on the first day
  • Always make the right decisions
  • Raise your hand and wait to be called on
  • Try to be organized
  • Don’t call out your teacher’s name
  • Study
  • Be quiet in class but ask questions after raising your hand
  • Be ready for math homework
  • Know if it’s an A Day or a B Day
  • Have good behavior because of Pride Parties
  • Don’t miss class during the year so that you can be exempt from the final exams at the end of the year
  • Bring money for snacks in the morning
  • Remember ear buds every day
  • Eat a good breakfast
  • Make sure that you have everything that you need
