Arrival/Dismissal Traffic Plan

MORNING ARRIVAL
  • Thank you in advance for your patience!
  • Morning drop off will begin at 7:30 AM. Students will report to their designated courtyard area if being dropped off prior to 8:00 AM.
  • All Car riders will enter through the main entrance off Calhoun Station Parkway.
  • 6th Grade carpool line will be in the middle lane and drop off at the South/Band hall entrance.
  • 7th and 8th grade drop off will go through the new far-right lane and drop off at the front entrance of the school.
  • In both lines, please pull to the end of the sidewalk to allow more cars into the line.
  • Only Staff and Buses are permitted to use the new entrance road. This road will be closed to construction traffic at all other times.
AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
  • Afternoon dismissal begins at 3:25.
  • All Car rider traffic will enter through the main entrance off Calhoun St. Pkwy. in the same lanes as morning drop-off.
  • 6th grade – South/Band Hall Entrance
  • 7th/8th – Front Entrance of the School
  • Once buses have arrived, (at approx. 3:35) 7/8 grade traffic will MERGE TOGETHER and be directed to the South/Band Hall entrance at this point in dismissal.
  • Bus riders will remain in their classroom until their bus number is announced. They will then load buses at the front entrance.
  • We will have administrators, staff, and law enforcement in place to help direct traffic and maintain a safe and orderly dismissal.
